There passed away at the home of her daughter in Belleville, Ontario, Mrs. Gledhill, beloved wife of G.W. Gledhill, Sr., and mother of G.W. Gledhill, Jr., of Grimsby.
The late Mrs. Gledhill was in her 84th year, and died after a lengthy illness, Born in Manchester, England, she came to Toronto, Canada, in 1909, and in 1920 they moved to Grimsby. Moving back to Toronto they remained there until 1946 when she went to Belleville, to her daughter's home where she passed away this week.
It was in September of 1946 that Mr. and Mrs. Gledhill celebrated their diamond anniversary.
Her oldest daughter, Mrs. G.O. Moss, predeceased her in 1945. With her passing she leaves to mourn her loss, G.W. Gledhill, Jr., of Grimsby, Mrs. Harold Miller, Bellville, Mrs. Albert Long of Toronto, and Mrs. Albert Helliwell, also of Toronto.
Resting at the McDougall and Brown Funeral Home, Danforth Ave., Toronto, where funeral services will be conducted on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in St. John's Norway Cemetery.
