On Saturday, Sept. 6th, at the rectory of St. Ann's Church, Hamilton, the wedding took place of Miss Margaret Anne McVicar, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.R. McVicar, Grimsby, and Mr. Thomas Prestney, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Prestney, Hamilton.
The bride wore a powder blue dress with navy accessories. Her flowers were American Beauty roses. She was attended by Mrs. George Furness, wearing a pale blue dress with corsage of Talisman roses. Mr. Terence Cassidy was groomsman.
A small reception was held at the Rycroft Inn. For going away, the bride wore a navy gabardine suit with navy and white accessories.
The couple spent their honeymoon in the Muskoka district. They will reside in Hamilton.
