A long and beautiful life was terminated on Saturday morning of Mary Caroline Bourne, in her 86th year.

Deceased lady was born in Norfolk County in 1861, and lived, for most of her life, in Jarvis, coming to Grimsby to reside about 18 years ago. She was a lady of kindly and loving spirit and was always ready to extend a helping hand.

She is survived by two brothers, Town Clerk G.G. Bourne, and Councillor A.B. Bourne, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Fallis of Jarvis.

Services were conducted at the home of A.B. Bourne by Rev. E.A. Brooks on Sunday evening and the remains were taken to Jarvis where funeral services were conducted in St. Paul's Anglican Church by Rev. Mr. Cameron on Monday afternoon. Interment was in St. Paul's churchyard.

Casket bearers at Jarvis were: Robert C. Bourne, F.N. Bourne, Chicago, D.J. Dellar, D.C. Allen, C.S. McCarter, W.Hodgson.
