Full Text

A pretty wedding took place at Church of the Sacred Heart, Peterboro, when Rev. J.J. O'Brien performed the ceremony which united in the holy bonds of matrimony, Ada Mae Orr, daughter of Mrs. Lillian Orr and the late Wm. Orr, Grimsby, and Harold L. Gibson, of North Bay, son of the late Mrs. Gibson and H.D. Gibson, of Halifax, N.S.

The wedding march was played by Mr. J. Armstrong and Mr. K. Picard sang an "Ave Maria" during the nuptial mass.

The bride, who was given away by Mr. A. Girard, was charming in brown Canton crepe, with large hat of brown georgette and bouquet of Ophelia roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Jeanne Girard, wore georgette with large black hat and carried Columbia roses. Mr. George Rutherford acted as best man.

After a wedding breakfast, served at Hooper's Palm Room, Mr. and Mrs. Gibson left for their honeymoon, the bride travelling in a suit of purple broadcloth, with hat to match. Later, they will reside in North Bay. The bride, who has a large circle of friends in the city, received any useful and beautiful gifts.
