To the Editor of The Independent: Dear Sir, The following news item will no doubt be of interest to a number of your readers as I was born and raised in Saltfleet township, at Tweedside, and also attended high school in Grimsby, when C.H. Harrison was principal. On July 19th, at Winnipeg, Man., in the Holy Trinity Church, I was married to Annie Mary Herron, of Carleton Place, Ontario. The bride wore a pink satin dress, with white shoes and hat, and wore a woolen cape of white. She carried a bouquet of roses and carnations. We were attended by Mrs. E.Mills and Mr. J.A. McDonald, of Winnipeg. We spent a few days in Winnipeg visiting relatives of the bride.
I am back at Pennant, where I am in business, and expect Mrs. Tweddle to join me soon.
You may arrange this in any way suitable. My father, the late Walter Tweddle, was a personal friend of J.A. Livingston, so should any of his sons read this, they will probably recognize the name.
Sincerely yours, J.A. Tweddle, Pennant, Sask. July 26, 1923.
