Silas Wardell, an esteemed resident of Grimsby, died at his residence, Murray Street, on July 12. Deceased was born at Smithville and resided there until 12 years ago when he removed to Grimsby, where he resided until the time of his death. Surviving are his wife, two sons, C.E. of St. Catharines, Ira M. of Tintern, and three daughters, Mrs. W.N. Tallman, of Hamilton, Mrs. Jas. F. Bird, of Grimsby, and Miss Claire of Toronto. Deceased was a member of the I.O.O.F. The funeral took place on Friday afternoon, July 14, at 2:30 o'clock from his late residence, Murray street, Grimsby, to Union Cemetery, Smithville, for interment.
