Full Text

A very pretty wedding was solemnized Tuesday evening, June 12th, at half past eight o'clock, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Millward, Washington St., Pontiac, Mich., when Miss Lillian C. Merritt, of Grimsby, Ont., became the bride of Mr. Lloyd E. Hurst, of Pontiac (formerly of Beamsville, Ont.).

Rev. W. Morrison read the ring service in the presence of immediate relatives and friends. The bride, who was attired in white silk canton crepe, was attended by Mrs. E.F. Hurst, of Beamsville, Ont., dressed in sand silk, canton crepe, and Cecil Millward, of Pontiac, acted as best man. The groom's gift to the bride was a rope of pearls. Luncheon was served in the spacious dining room, which was decorated with ferns and smilax. After a short eastern trip the couple will reside in Pontiac on their return.
