Full Text

A very charming wedding was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Book, Main Street east, Grimsby, on Wednesday, June 6, at 3 o'clock, when their daughter, Beulah Irene, was united in marriage to Mr. William McDonald, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. McDonald, of Beamsville. Rev. Wm. Cooper, of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Beamsville, officiated at the ceremony, which took place in the drawing room in a bower of purple and white lilacs, carnations and sweet peas. The wedding music was played by Miss Pearl Brooks. The bride, who was given away by her father, was becomingly gowned in peach georgette with silver trimmings, and carried a bouquet of Ophelia roses and lilies of the valley. After a dainty luncheon, Mr. and Mrs. McDonald left for Syracuse and other eastern points, the bride traveling in a dress of grey canton crepe, wrap and a hat of Milan straw with a crown of embroidered crepe. From out of town, guests were present from Buffalo, St. Catharines, Beamsville, Hamilton, and Woodstock.
