The death occurred in St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton, on Wednesday, April 25th, of Charles Clifford , youngest son of J.L. and Mrs. Snyder, Robinson Street, after an illness extending over several weeks. The deceased was taken ill in December and was laid up for a considerable time, finally recovering sufficiently to be able to go back to his work, but in a few days again suffered a relapse from which he gradually grew worse until he passed away. The deceased was in his 33rd year and had lived in Grimsby practically all his life and was well and favorably known by all the residents of this district. He leaves to mourn his loss besides his parents, his widow, who was Miss Kathleen McManus of Hamilton; three sisters, Mrs. Glower of Boston, Mass.; Mrs. Peterson of St. Catharines; Mrs. Maecker of Preston and one brothers, Robert, of Preston. The funeral, which was very largely attended, was held on Friday afternoon to Queen's Lawn Cemetery, Rev. L.H. Currie officiating.
