At the advance age of 82 years and two months. Charles Jeffries died at the home of his son, Frank, 207 Pacific Avenue, Toronto, on Thursday, April 12, 1923. Mr. Jeffries was widely known in this district, having for about half a century carried on a shoe business in Beamsville. Surviving are three sons, John, an educationist, and Frank and Wilbert of the I.T.S. Rubber Company, all of Toronto. The funeral took place on Saturday, April 14, by motor to Beamsville, interment being in Mount Osborne Cemetery, the Rev. G.E. Smith of Beamsville Methodist Church officiating.
