The death occurred in Beamsville on Saturday, Feb. 3, 1923, of Mary Jane Snyder, widow of the late John Prudhomme, aged 70 years and 10 months. Mrs. Prudhomme was born on the Snyder homestead just west of Beamsville, a daughter of Israel Snyder, and had spent the greater part of her life in Beamsville. She is survived by two sons, Charles H. and Harry Prudhomme, both of Beasmville. The funeral took place on Tuesday, Feb. 6, from her late residence, King Street West, to Mount Osborne cemetery, the Rev. William Cooper of Beamsville Presbyterian Church conducting the services. The pallbearers were W.D. Fairbrother, Lloyd Tufford, Sidney Wilson of Beamsville, David Robinson of Decews Falls, Arthur Farrell, R.H. Kidd, of Grimsby.
