The wedding took place Wednesday of two popular young people of Beamsville, at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. B.S. Wismer, of Blair, Ont. The ceremony, which was solemnized in the presence of friends and relatives of the contracting parties and which united Mr. Norman Bartlett of Clinton Township, son of Mr. I.E. Bartlett, and Miss Lydia Wismer, also of the Township, was performed by Rev. Mr. Green, of Preston. The bride wore a beautiful gown of ivory crepe de chine, and carried a shower bouquet of roses. Miss Mary Wismer of Guelph was the bridesmaid, while the groom was supported by his brother, Mr. Ben. Bartlett. The groom's gift to his bride was a gold and pearl necklace, to the bridesmaid a studded pearl brooch and to the best man a pearl stick pin. After the ceremony the happy couple left on a trip through the Thousand Islands and on return will reside in their new home on the 2nd Concession, Clinton Twp.
