Rev. J.A. Ballard, rector of St. Andrew's Anglican Church, officiated at the funeral service of Mrs. Claude Sweet, on Friday afternoon from her late residence, 84 Paton Street, Grimsby, following her death in the Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday of last week. Burial was made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery, with the following acting as pallbearers: George, John and Ted Farrell; John, Reginald and Harold Sweet. Born in North Grimsby 29 years ago, she was, before her marriage, Miss Catharine Martha Violet Farrell, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Farrell, of Grimsby. She was a member of the Anglican Church. Surviving besides her husband and parents are two sons, William and Garry; one sister, Mrs. H. McNinch and three brothers, George, John and Ted, all of Grimsby.
