Following a lingering illness, death claimed a resident of Grimsby for over 52 years, in the person of Mrs. Cyrus Milmine, on Friday last at her home, 181 Main Street West. The deceased lady was in her 83rd year. Born in Caistor township, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James McNinch. Surviving besides her husband, are: one sister, Mrs. Sarah York, Rochester N.Y.; two brothers, Benjamin McNinch, Smithville; and Scott McNinch, Canboro. Funeral service was held on Monday afternoon from the Stonehouse funeral home, with Rev. R. B. Ferris, of Trinity United Church, conducting the service. Interment was made in St. Andrew's Churchyard, where Rev. J.A. Ballard, rector of St. Andrew's Anglican Church, performed the obsequies. A large number of friends and relatives were in attendance to pay tribute to the deceased lady. The pallbearers were six nephews - Messrs. Lawrence Milmine, of Hamilton; Claude and Elmer Milmine, of Stoney Creek; Henry and Clarence McNinch, of Grimsby and James Hescock, of Smithville.
