A pretty wedding was solemnized on Saturday afternoon, November 1, at the home of Mr. B.C. and Mrs. Ellison, 19 Lorne Avenue, Hamilton, when their eldest daughter, Ada Victoria, became the wife of Mr. Leroy Merritt of Vinemount. Rev. C.L. McIrvine performed the ceremony in the presence of about 30 guests. Miss Maud E. Comfort played the wedding march as the bride entered with her father who gave her away. The bride was gowned in navy blue meteor crepe, trimmed with braid and silver beads and wore a corsage bouquet of Russell roses.
