A very highly esteemed resident of Saltfleet passed peacefully away on Thursday, Nov. 27th, at Hamilton City Hospital, in the person of Hamilton Sturch of Vinemount, after a serious operation. Surviving are his wife and two sons, William H., of Buffalo and Harry of Vinemount, and three daughters, Mrs. W.F. Clark, Burlington; Mrs. J.D. Rountree, Hamilton; and Miss Mae at home; also two brothers, Andrew of Grimsby and Samuel of South Porcupine; and four sisters, Mrs. I. McIsaac, Hamilton; Mrs. W.Tew, Dryden, Ont.; Mrs. F. Brydes, Alberta; and Mrs. W. Packham, Detroit, Mich. The funeral service was held at his late residence, Vinemount, at 2:00 p.m. Sunday by Rev. W.D. Clark. Interment taking place at Queen's Lawn Cemetery, Grimsby. The pallbearers were W.H. Vanduzer, Chas. Hawkey, Jphn Althouse, Chas. Barr, Westley Harvey, Hugh. H. Bertram. The floral tributes were numerous and beautiful showing the high esteem in which the deceased was held.
