The many friends of Miss Lulu A. Simpson, in Grimsby and Beamsville learned with regret of her death in Hamilton on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 1919, after an illness of a few months. Miss Simpson was a teacher in the Public School of Grimsby for many years and after moving to Hamilton she was on the teaching staff there up till about 6 months ago when failing health compelled her to resign. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. W. Walker of Grimsby. The funeral took place on Friday December 26th to Hamilton cemetery. The Rev. W. McIlroy officiated. The pallbearers were W.A. Simpson (St. Catharines); W. Walker (Grimsby); Rev. J. Stapleton (Toronto); and Herbert Simpson (Hamilton).
