Full Text

A pretty wedding was solemnized at the parsonage of the Ryerson Methodist Church, Hamilton, on August 30th, by the Rev. R.J. Treleaven, when Hilda M. Huber, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Huber of Hanover, Ont., became the bride of Roy C. VanDyke, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W.B. VanDyke, of Grimsby, Ont. The couple were attended by Miss Vera L. May and Mr. Clyde VanDyke, brother of the groom. They received many pretty and useful gifts, among which was a beautiful cut glass water set from her girl friends in Hamilton. The groom was the recipient of a handsome clock from the staff of the Dominion Steel Goods Co., of which he is a managing director. They left on an extended trip to Montreal and The Thousand Islands and on their return the bride will receive her friends on the first Wednesday of each month with Mrs. W.B. VanDyke.
