The death occurred in Hamilton General Hospital on Sunday, Dec. 3, 1922, of George M. Hoffman, of South Grimsby, in his 64th year. Mr. Hoffman was born at Campden where his father had a farm and also a shoe business in the village, but some forty years ago he moved to the present home in South Grimsby where he has resided since. On Thursday, Nov. 23, he went to the hospital to prepare for an operation which was not considered dangerous but was more serious than anticipated. Surviving are Mrs. Hoffman and four sons: Arthur, of Newburg, Ont.; Edgar V., in business in Grimsby; Harvey, of Ottawa; and Norman at home. The funeral takes place this (Wednesday) afternoon, Dec. 6, to the Kimbo Methodist church and interment in the church cemetery. Service at the house at 1 o'clock.
