Full Text

Mr. and Mrs. William R. Patterson and family are mourning the death on Tuesday, Nov. 21st, 1922, of their baby daughter, Nora Lillian (Nody), at the age of ten years and nine months, from tonsillitis and a weak heart. The little one had been injured three years ago and her heart had not been normal since, and when an acute attack of tonsillitis came she was not able to resist. Besides her parents there remains two brothers, Charles Hunter, John Patterson and Mary Patterson. She was a grand-daughter of George R. Secor, of Grimsby, and Mr. and Mrs. John Patterson, of South Grimsby. The funeral took place to Queen's Lawn Cemetery on Wednesday, Nov. 22, the Rev. A.J. Irwin officiating. A hymn, which was a favorite with the child, "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam", was sung at the house by Mrs. James Thomas, whose daughter, Miss Reta, had been the little one's music teacher.
