The death occurred at the home of her son at The Fifty, on Monday, November 6, 1922, of Mrs. Regena Griffin, relict of the late M.R. Griffin, in her 64th year. The late Mrs. Griffin was born at The Fifty, the eldest daughter of the late Benjamin J. Smith, and had resided in the vicinity the greater part of her life. Surviving are an only son, Lorne A. Griffin; one brother, E.O. Smith of Winona; four sisters, Mrs. William H. Bragg, Mrs. William Patterson and Mrs. V.R. Ellis, all of Hamilton, and Mrs. W.C. Dawe of Winona. The funeral will take place this afternoon, Wednesday, Nov. 8, to The Fifty Methodist cemetery, the Rev. A.C. Eddy officiating. The pallbearers are W.A. Patterson, Wm. Frazer, Thos. Thompson, Ald. William Thompson, Geo. Thompson, all of Hamilton; W.C. Dawe.
