One of Fruitland's oldest and most esteemed residents passed away Friday morning, in the person of Margaret Dean, wife of Alexander Glover at her residence there. Deceased was 81 years old, and had been a resident of the vicinity of Fruitland all her life. Since an accident which occurred several years ago, she had been in poor health, but it was not until three months ago that her condition became serious. She was a member of the Fruitland Methodist church all her life, being an ardent worker in all church affairs. Surviving besides her husband are two sons, A. and Herbert B., of Winona; two daughters, Misses Martha and Maude, both at home. She is also survived by grandchildren. The funeral took place at 2 o'clock on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from her late residence, to Fruitland cemetery.
