Full Text

Rock Chapel was the scene of one of the prettiest wedding this season, on Wednesday, June 14th, when Florence Huntington, youngest daughter of C.E. and Mrs. Barr, of Vinemount, was united in holy matrimony to Herman Wade Packham, of Caistor. Miss Gertrude Barr, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, and Mr. Ernest Packham, of Toronto, was best man. Miss Lola Barr, the bride's niece, made a very pretty flower girl. The bride, dressed in white kittens ear crepe, with hat to match, and carrying a shower bouquet of roses and orange blossoms, entered the church on the arm of her father to the strains of Wagner's wedding march from 'Lohengrin'. During the signing of the register, Mrs. Gamon of St. Catharine sang "I Love You Truly". After the ceremony a dainty luncheon was served to about 40 guests on the lawn of the bride's parents, after which Mr. and Mrs. Packham left for a short trip to Geneva, N.Y.
