On Easter Monday, April 17th, 1922, at Stoney Creek, Jessie Irene, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Southward of Beamsville, was united in marriage to Charles E. Nutley of Hamilton. The ceremony was performed by Rev. W.G.O. Thompson of Stoney Creek, a former pastor of St. Albans Church, Beamsville. The bride wore a navy blue tricotine suit with hat and veil to match, and carried a bouquet of white carnations with fern. She was attended by Miss May Short of Toronto, who wore a navy blue tricotine suit with hat to match, with a bouquet of sweet peas and fern. Sidney Nutley, a brother of the groom, ably assisted as best man. After a short trip to London and points west Mr. and Mrs. Nutley will reside in Hamilton.
