Mrs. Maryetta Burkholder, widow of George Hildreth, died on Sunday evening, April 30, at her late residence, Poplarview Farm, Vinemount, after a lingering illness. Mrs. Hildreth was born in Tapleytown, but had resided in Vinemount over 60 years. She was a member of Tapleytown Methodist Church where she was well known and highly esteemed by a wide circle of friends, who will regret to hear of her death. He husband predeceased her two months ago. Left to mourn her death are six sons, Charles of Ancaster; John of Grimsby; Hiram of Hamilton; Francis, William and Elmer of Vinemount; and three daughters, Mrs. W.B. Davis of Smithville; Mrs. D. Gunning of Dunnville, and Mrs. Charles Marshall of Stoney Creek; and two sisters, Mrs. George Lampman of Tapleytown and Mrs. Myrian Marshall of Stoney Creek. The funeral takes place from her late residence today (Wednesday) at 2 o'clock, interment at Tapleytown cemetery.
