The death occurred on Saturday, April 1, of Amber Wilhelmina, wife of James Dudley Brown, in her 26th year. Mrs. Brown was stricken with tuberculosis about a year ago and for the past six months had been confined to her bed. She was born in Grimsby in November, 1895, and was the eldest daughter of Richard and Mrs. Wadge of Gibson Avenue, to whose home she had been removed a few weeks ago. Besides her sorrowing husband, she leaves to mourn her loss a son, Keith, 7 years old, her parents and a sister, Ruth. The funeral took place on Monday, April 3, to Queen's Lawn Cemetery, the Rev. T. Ratcliffe conducting the services. The pallbearers were: Claude Bowden, Leonard Bromley, William Farrell, F.J.S. Johnson, Gordon McBride and C.H. Walker.
