The death occurred on Friday afternoon of Rachael Hudson, wife of George Phillips, at her residence, 491 King William Street, Hamilton. Surviving are her husband who is a compositor employed at the Appleford Counter Check Company, and one son, Robert, and one daughter, Zelona May. The funeral took place to Hamilton cemetery on Monday, April 3. - Hamilton Spectator. Mrs. Phillips had many friends in Grimsby, Mr. Phillips being on the Independent staff for some years before moving to Hamilton.
