Charles Bentley, aged 12 years, died on Monday at the General Hospital of typhoid fever, contracted while visiting his uncle, the late John Hand, who died some days ago of that disease. This is the third death as a result of a contaminated well at the Hand residence, a son of John Hand having passed away a few days ago. Besides, his parents, two sisters and one brother survive. The funeral will take place from the residence of his uncle, William Cooke, 29 Leeming Street, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock to Hamilton cemetery. - Hamilton Spectator. Charles Bentley is a nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Bentley of Grimsby.
