Word has been received of the death in Plainfield. N.J. of Thomas H. Lawrence, formerly of Saltfleet, from a paralytic stroke of a week previous. The late Mr. Lawrence was born in Stoney Creek about 68 years ago and was married in 1877 to Ida VanDuzer, daughter of the late John W. VanDuzer, and after their marriage they moved to Plainfield where Mrs. Lawrence predeceased him about 10 years ago. Mr. Lawrence learned the carpenter and building [trade] with Daniel Marsh at Winona and had followed that business in Plainfield. At the time of his death he was residing with his daughter, Mrs. Beasley, besides whom survive two sons, William and Thomas Lawrence of New York City. Interment was made in Bound Brook, N.J.
