Full Text

A quiet and pretty wedding took place in Hamilton on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 25, 1922, when the Rev. F.W. Hollingrake united in marriage Miss Lena May Sears, daughter of Mr. and the late Mrs. John Sears, of Hamilton, to Mr. Edward A. House, son of Mr. and Mrs. Austin E. House of Grimsby. The bride, who was attended by her sister, Mrs. Percy Wakeford , wore a gown of blue satin with henna embroidery and hat to match. After the ceremony the bridal party adjourned to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Floods, 50 Barton Street West, where a dainty buffet luncheon was served. Much merriment was in progress there, owing to the fact that Mr. and Mrs. H.W. Floods also celebrated their 10th anniversary. About 30 guests were present, and the gifts to both parties were numerous and beautiful. After dancing and other amusements, the guests departed in the wee sma' hours. Mr. and Mrs. House will reside in Hamilton.
