The death occurred at her home in Vinemount on Saturday, Feb. 25, 1922, of Mrs. Mary Isabelle Bowslaugh, widow of the late Leslie Bowslaugh, in her 68th year. The late Mrs. Bowslaugh was born at Vinemount in April 1854, the daughter of Joseph Harvey and Rebecca Lacey, and had lived in the neighbourhood all her life. She had been in ill health for about three years, but, as all through her life, she was ever ready and willing to do kindly acts and will be missed by many who have known her kindness. Her husband predeceased her about 9 years but there remains to mourn two sons and two daughters: Joseph and Ethel Bowslaugh of Vinemount, Victor Bowslaugh and Mrs. Ernest Tweedle of Tapleytown; two brothers and two sisters: Wesley Harvey of Vinemount and Victor Harvey of Hamilton; Mrs. Margaret Menary and Mrs. Robert McIntosh of Vinemount. The funeral took place to the Fifty Cemetery on Monday, Feb. 27, the Rev. John Dilts of Tapleytown circuit conducting the services. The pallbearers were James Bertram, Arthur Fortman, John W. Harper, Walter Johnson, J.M.Patterson and Albert Tillotson.
