After saying good night to his wife and daughters on Monday evening, Jan. 2, 1922, Howard W. Eaton, 143 Central Avenue, retired to his room and within a few minutes expired from a severe attack of heart failure. He had never been subject to the malady but hearing groans from his room his family investigated and found him in an unconscious condition. He died before medical assistance could be secured. He was a former employee of the R. Simpson Company, Toronto, and moved to Grimsby some years ago, where he conducted a men's furnishing business. Coming to this city 8 years ago, he established a grocery business, but for the past two years had been a traveler for the firm of Withe & Co. He is survived by his widow, two daughters, Eleanor and Ruth; one brother, Clarence, and one sister, Mrs. C.W. Scott, both of Whitby. - Hamilton Herald. Mr. Eaton will be remembered by many Grimsby people. While resident here he married Evelyn, daughter of the late Rev. J. Forman. The funeral took place on Thursday last to Hamilton cemetery.
