Full Text

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry M. VanDyke, Worthington, Ont., was the scene of a very pretty wedding on Wednesday evening, Nov. 16, when their youngest daughter, Pearl Irene, was married to Mr. Elliott Ross Hales, C.P.R. agent at Worthington. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J.C. Cochrane of Sudbury in the presence of only immediate friends and relatives. The bride, who wore a lovely dress of white satin and georgette, was attended by her sister, Miss Ruby VanDyke. The groom was assisted by Mr. Adam Craig of Sudbury. After the ceremony the wedding party assembled in the dining room, where a sumptuous wedding dinner was served. The room was done in roses and carnations. The young couple later left for Lindsay and Toronto and will later visit points in the west. On their return they will reside in Worthington. - Sudbury Star
