The death of Mary Catharine Wilcox, wife of Lewis Hoffman, took place in Gainsboro Township on Saturday, Sept. 3, 1921, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.A. Lane. The deceased was in her 79th year and was born in Clinton Township. Besides the bereaved husband, three daughters and three sons are left to mourn her loss: Mrs. Edgar Krick, Mrs. Jas. A. Lane and Miss Emma, all of Wellandport; Robert and Walter of Beamsville, and James of Smithville. One brother and two sisters also survive. The funeral took place on Monday last from Wellandport to Mountain Presbyterian Church, Beamsville, for service, interment in cemetery adjoining.
