The death occurred in Grimsby on Wednesday, May 4, 1921, of Emma Amelia, wife of William A. Shepherd, in her 67th year.Mrs. Shepherd was born in Clinton Township, the daughter of John and Mrs. Huntsburger, and resided there the greater part of her life. About 7 years ago they came to Grimsby to reside and have been here since. Besides her husband, there remains one brother, Amasah Huntburger of Clinton Township, and four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Alvord of Buffalo, Mrs. D. Hixon of Beamsville, Mrs. John House of Louth and Mrs. E. Panter of Beamsville. The funeral took place on Friday, May 6 to Queen's Lawn Cemetery, the Rev. T. Ratcliffe conducting the services. The pallbearers were: W.H. Disher, Norman Todd, S. Reid and Edward Cowell.
