The death occurred in Grimsby on Saturday, April 30th, 1921, of Frank Evans, late of Victoria Harbor, Ont. Mr. Evans was the son of the late William and Mrs. Evans and was born at Victoria Harbor where he resided all his life until August, 1920, when he removed to Jordan. On April 11 this year he removed with his family to Grimsby. Mr. Evans was one of a family of 13 brothers and 4 sisters, all but two brothers and one sister surviving. Besides these there remains to mourn his loss his mother in Victoria Harbor, his wife and six children in Grimsby. The funeral took place on Monday, May 2, and was attended by members of Grimsby and Beamsville Orange lodges, the late Mr. Evans being a member of the lodge at Victoria Harbor. Interment took place in Queen's Lawn Cemetery, the Rev. A.J. Irwin officiating at the house and graveside, and the Orange ritual for the dead was also read. Among those from a distance to attend were three brothers, Samuel, Joseph and Andrew, all of Victoria Harbor, and Mrs. George Montgomery of Victoria Harbor, Mrs. J. Alford of Blackstock and Mrs. William Ferguson of Burton.
