A one-time well known resident of Grimsby, James McNinch, died at the home of his brother Scott at Canboro on Friday, April 22, 1921, in his 72nd year. He had been in poor health for about a year but his death was unexpected. Mr. McNinch was born in New York State, the second son of John and Phoebe Ann McNinch, and came to Caistor Township as a boy with his parents. About 30 years ago he came to Grimsby to live and 10 years ago moved to Hamilton. Surviving to mourn his demise are three brothers and three sisters, Henry of Grimsby, Mrs. Wesley Hendershot of Hamilton, Mrs. Cyrus Millmine of Grimsby, Benjamin of South Grimsby, Mrs. Daniel York of Niagara, Falls, N.Y. and Scott of Canboro. The funeral took place on Monday, April 25 to Canboro Cemetery.
