Taken suddenly ill while walking on the street in Hamilton, Peter Nichols, a well known resident of Grimsby, died shortly after entering the General Hospital on Saturday, where he had been rushed in a taxi-cab after he had collapsed. Deceased was one of the oldest employees of the H. G. & B., and latterly had been manager of the Dominion Power and Transmission Company at Grimsby. Surviving are a wife, three brothers and three sisters, John, Detroit; Thomas and Arthur, Glanford; Mary A., Beamsville; Eliza and Lucy, Hamilton. The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from his late residence, Kerman Avenue, thence to St. Andrew's Church cemetery, where interment took place.
