Sarah Adelaide Kemp Marlowe, wife of James Marlowe of Grimsby East, died at Woodstock on Saturday, March 12, 1921, aged 46 years and three months, after a long succession of illness and ill health. Mrs. Marlowe was the third daughter of the late Thomas Arthur and Adelaide Kemp of North Grimsby, and was married in 1899 and had lived in Grimsby East since then. The funeral took place on Tuesday, March 15 from her late home on Park Road to Queen's Lawn Cemetery, the Rev. Thomas Ratcliffe conducting the services at the house and graveside. Surviving to mourn her demise are her husband; one daughter, Florence, at home; five sisters, Mrs. William Dunn of Fonthill, Mrs. Paul Marlatt of Beamsville, Mrs. Walter C. Riddiford of London, Mrs. William Harshaw of Burlington, Mrs. Arthur H. Sharpe of Toronto; and five brothers, Robert H., William E., James A. and John A. Kemp of Beamsville and George E. Kemp of Dundas.
