The death occurred on Saturday, January 1, 1921 in Grimsby, after a lingering illness, of Mrs. Jessie Jacobs, wife of Milo Jacobs, in her 61st year. She was born in Scotland but came to Canada with her parents when a girl, and had resided in Hamilton nearly all her life. Her father, James Peden, was a contractor and carriage builder. Mrs. Jacobs was twice married, her first husband James McAllister dying some years ago. She was married in 1918 to her present husband, who is her only surviving near relative. The funeral took place on Monday, Jan. 3 from her late home here to Hamilton Cemetery.
