One of Grimsby's oldest residents passed away on Saturday, Dec. 5, 1920, in the person of Mrs. Ann Game, relict of the late James Game, at the home of Arthur Norton. Mrs. Game was born in England in April 1837, and came to Canada with her parents William and Mrs. Grant when she was 9 years old. She was married to James Game in North Grimsby and has lived in the township and village ever since. Surviving are three sons and three daughters, John and Thomas of Marion, Michigan, William of North Grimsby; Mrs. P.H. Blanchard of Winona; Mrs. E. May of Cadillac, Mich.; and Mrs. Arthur P. Norton, Grimsby. Interment took place in Queen's Lawn Cemetery on Monday, Dec. 7th, the Rev. Ratcliffe officiating. The pallbearers were Simeon Smye, Joseph Grasley, Dr. Brownlee, F.W. Sharp, C.F. Mabey and J.J. Groce.
