Albert Clair Pettit, youngest son of Oscar T. and Mrs. Pettit, died at his home on Doran Ave. on Sunday, June 20th. He had been ill for many months and the end was not unexpected. He was born in Winona and came to Grimsby several years ago with his parents, and previous to his illness was a member of the 44th Regiment Band and also took a prominent part in Methodist Sunday School and Christian Endevour work and was well liked by all. To mourn his loss are his father and mother and three brothers, Harry of Colgate, Saskatchewan, Meldrum and Lloyd of Grimsby. The funeral which was private took place on Tuesday to Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
