Full Text

There passed away at her home in South Grimsby, on Tuesday, May 4th, 1920, Matilda, beloved wife of James Evans, in the 65th year of her age. She was stricken with apoplexy, and passed away after 12 hours' illness. She leaves to mourn her demise, a husband, and one son of Welland. The funeral service was held at her late home, South Grimsby, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Gore, assisted by Rev. Mr. McQuiggan. Interment took place at Merritt Settlement cemetery.
