A sad bereavement occurred in Grimsby on Thursday, April 29, 1920, when Mrs. H.A. Baldwin died in her 48th year, after a somewhat protracted illness. Mrs. Baldwin was originally Mary Ann Brown of North Cayuga, where she was born and raised. She was also married there and resided there until their coming to Grimsby in 1907. In Grimsby Mrs. Baldwin made many friends and took an active interest in all women's movements. She was a member of the Methodist church and the W.C.T.U. To mourn her loss are her father and mother and three sisters, her husband and two sons, D. Lorne and Elwin D. Baldwin of Grimsby. The funeral took place to Queen's Lawn Cemetery on Saturday, May 1, the services being conducted by the Rev. J.A. McLachlan.
