Edward Lee, second son of the late Jeremiah Lee, passed away Thursday at the residence of his son-in-law, Clarence Howell, of Copetown, at the age of 74 years. He leaves to mourn his loss, besides his widow, four daughters and two sons. Mr. Lee was born in Stoney Creek 74 years ago, living there up to about 8 years ago, then moving and taking up his home with his daughter, Mrs. Clarence Howell, of Copetown. He enjoyed good health until about 11 months ago, when he suffered a stroke from which he never fully recovered, the second stroke coming Thursday evening. The funeral was held on Monday to Stoney Creek cemetery where interment took place.
