Mrs. I.B. Marlatt,a pioneer of the Swope park district, died Sunday at her home 4400 Tracy Avenue. Thirty years ago, her father, George Heiniman, cleared timber from the tract of land now bounded by Cleveland and Prospect avenues, 69th and 70th streets. She is survived by her husband and a son, George, of the home address; a sister, Mrs. Frank P. Pax, and two brothers, John and George Heiniman. - Kansas City, (Kan.) Post. Mrs. Marlatt was the wife of I.B. Marlatt, a former well known resident of the district.
