Full Text

The death occurred rather suddenly on Monday evening of Mrs. Caroline Millet, who has been a resident of Grimsby for some years. The deceased lady had been working at Wm. Stewart's all day and was driven home in the automobile by Mr. Stewart. She had not felt well through the day but seemed quite bright and happy when he let her out of the car at the corner of Paton Street. She walked down the street to her home and went in the house where she sat down on the stairs. Her daughter came in and spoke to her but her answer was hardly distinct enough to be heard. She was carried to a lounge and medical aid was summoned but the spark of life had fled before the doctors arrived. She was about 70 years of age and was born in England. A large family survive.
