A particularly sad death occurred at Tweedside on Friday last, when the Grim Reaper visited the home of Howard Fleming for the second time within a week and took Howard Fleming home to his Maker. The deceased gentleman was only 25 years of age and had been a resident of that district all his life. His wife passed away just a few days previous but he was unable to attend the funeral on account of being ill with pneumonia from which he never recovered. Besides his four little children, he leaves to mourn is loss a father and a mother and one sister, Mrs. W.H. Webber, of Hamilton. The funeral took place on Sunday, to Queen's Lawn Cemetery, Grimsby.
