Mr. John Fader, who had been a resident of North Grimsby for the past seven years, passed away at the home of his granddaughter, Mrs. M.W. Meikle, on Monday, March 26th, 1917, at the age of 81 years. The deceased gentleman is survived by one daughter, Mrs. J. Gibson, North Grimsby, several grandchildren and two great grandchildren, Margaret Meikle, one year and six months old, North Grimsby, and William Billings, nine years old, Winchester, Ont. The deceased gentleman had been a prominent member of the Loyal Odange [sic] Association for 50 years. The funeral took place on Wednesday, March 28th, to Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
