Beamsville - A telegram has been received by relatives here notifying them of the death in the present British offensive in France of Ellison VanHorne, a former Beamsville boy, who enlisted in Winnipeg. He was the eldest son of the late Daniel VanHorne and was in his 47th year. His mother and sister, Mrs. Peter Robertson, here, and his widow and a family of nine children in the west, survive.
